The divestment comes nearly 2 years after Micro-Soft invested $100 million in the online venture which provided RadioShack.com llc with a prime placement on Microsoft's Network portal and MSN eShop, an online shopping site. The transaction will not affect any strategic agreements between the two companies. RadioShack.com LLC operates as a subsidiary of RadioShack Corp. As of November 19, 2020, RadioShack.com LLC operates as a subsidiary of Retail Ecommerce Ventures LLC.
