Located 450 kilometers northwest of Lusaka, Zambia, the Solwezi licenses are adjacent to the Kansanshi mine, Africa's largest copper/gold mine operated by First Quantum Minerals. Established in 2007 and headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, Midnight Sun Mining aims to discover world-class copper deposits in this prolific mining district, which is also home to major operators like Barrick, Rio Tinto, Glencore, and Ivanhoe Mines.
