Korea Venture Investment Corporation (KVIC), established in 2005 and based in Seoul, South Korea, operates as a Fund of Funds management company dedicated to fostering the growth of the local private equity industry. KVIC manages the Korea Fund of Funds, which is supported by the Korean government and focuses on investing in venture capital funds globally. As a wholly owned subsidiary of the Small Business Corporation of Korea, KVIC is responsible for all private equity investment activities under the SBC umbrella. Additionally, KVIC aims to support the expansion of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through strategic investments, while maintaining a global presence with offices in California, Shanghai, and Singapore.
