Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida With the assistance of several donors, volunteers, and a loving, committed community, the food bank collects, stores, and distributes donated food to recipients. It assists in connecting those who qualify for SNAP food assistance benefits with the tools they require to enroll in the program and get assistance.

The Community Food Bank of Central Alabama offers a food distribution facility. They buy food from industry sources and reclaim surplus food from grocery stores. This food is distributed to nonprofit organizations and religious organizations that serve the needy directly through their own programs.
