Neuron Soundware is a deep tech startup in AI and IoT using audio analysis to detect broken machines. Neuron soundware develops a detection system that detects machine problems. By recording audio data via sensors and the subsequent automatic evaluation, failures or abnormal behaviors of machines are detected and production breakdowns are prevented. Neuron soundware was named “Idea of the Year 2016” in the Czech Republic for the combination of artificial intelligence and IoT (using acoustic sensors). Founded in 2016 by Pavel Konečný in Prague, the company received EUR 600,000 investment by J&T Ventures in 2017. In 2018, Neuron soundware was classified as a “Cool Vendor in Acoustic Technologies for Predictive Maintenance” by Gartner. And one year later the company closed Round A with EUR 5.75 milion investment from INVEN CAPITAL and LEAD VENTURES.
