Kinder Foundation

Kinder Foundation is a Houston-based nonprofit established in 1997 by Richard D. Kinder and Nancy G. The foundation supports Greater Houston by awarding grants to enhance parks and green spaces, promote healthy recreation, and improve education and quality of life. Its grantmaking spans arts, education, health associations, social services, children's services, community development, and related programs, with a focus on expanding opportunities and access to learning and community amenities. Through strategic philanthropy, the foundation seeks to position Greater Houston as a model city for economic opportunity and a high quality of life.
