The hospital and its affiliated facilities provide high-quality medical services across the San Francisco Bay Area, ensuring that specialized care is accessible to families close to home. Additionally, the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health, established in 1996, plays a crucial role in supporting this mission by fundraising to enhance the quality and accessibility of children's health care. The foundation aims to elevate the importance of children's health through leadership and direct investment, with its assets managed by a board of directors. Together, the hospital and foundation work towards improving health outcomes for children and promoting the overall well-being of the community.
Acelero Learning serves nearly 4,000 young children and families in our Head Start and Early Head Start programs across the country. Our delegates in Monmouth/Middlesex County, NJ and Camden/Philadelphia, and Clark County, NV have each improved the delivery of early childhood education in their communities -- increasing enrollment, improving teacher salaries and dramatically expanding the number of hours of programming for children and families.
