The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) is a quasi-public agency dedicated to fostering innovation within the life sciences sector in Massachusetts. Established under the Massachusetts Life Sciences Act, the Center's mission is to create jobs and enhance scientific research that benefits public health. It provides financial support to both public and private entities engaged in life sciences research, development, and commercialization, focusing on areas such as biopharma, medical devices, diagnostics, and digital health. The MLSC operates an Accelerator Loan Program aimed at offering working capital to early-stage life sciences companies with strong potential for growth and technology commercialization. A small, private, residential New England school, Dean College offers four-year as well as associate degree programs. A small campus less than 45 minutes from Boston and Providence, Dean College is located amidst the nation’s oldest, most prestigious region of higher learning.
