Rainbow PUSH

The Rainbow PUSH Coalition (RPC) is a progressive, multi-racial organization dedicated to social change and civil rights advocacy. Founded in December 1996 by Reverend Jesse L. Jackson, Sr., it emerged from the merger of two earlier initiatives he established: People United to Serve Humanity and the Rainbow Coalition. The organization's mission encompasses promoting peace and justice while addressing critical issues such as poverty, hunger, gun violence, home foreclosure, corporate inclusion, and voter registration. With its headquarters in Chicago, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition operates several offices across the United States, including locations in Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, and Oakland.
