The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation is the state's economic development agency, headquartered in Madison. It collaborates with more than 600 statewide partners—including regional economic development organizations, academic institutions, and industry groups—to enhance Wisconsin communities, support business development, advance industry innovation, access global markets, and develop a skilled workforce. The organization focuses on economic and community development, entrepreneurship and innovation, business and industry growth, international business development, marketing, public affairs, and finance and administration, and it provides technical support and financial assistance to companies, partners, and communities, including debt funding for startups and early-stage ventures.
