BITSAA International Inc. is a not-for-profit organization registered in New Jersey, USA (Federal EIN# 22-3835037) and has been granted tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS tax code as of August 20, 2002.Though BITSAA International, Inc. had its genesis as a 501(C)(3) Non-Profit in the USA, we also actively collaborate with several BITS-based trusts initiated in India and elsewhere by Alumni Batches, Chapters for instance the BITSAA India Trust (80G tax exempt organization as our India Arm), BITSAA-SVC (501(C)(3) serving alumni in the Bay Area), BITS 70-75 Trust, BITS-69 Trust, BITSunami Trust, Prof. LK Maheshwari Foundation, Saxena Foundation etc
