Ares SSG, established in 2009, is a Hong Kong-based private equity firm specializing in middle market, credit, and special situations investments. It focuses on the Asia Pacific region, particularly Greater China, India, Indonesia, and Southeast Asia. The firm, now a subsidiary of Ares Management Corporation, was previously known as SSG Capital Management Limited. Ares SSG maintains offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Mauritius, and India.
