Guadalupe Centers provides early childhood education, secondary education, adult education, and workforce training programs. Providing equitable access to health services and social services. Events aimed at fostering Latino culture and enriching Latinos' lives. Participating in social activities that engage our diverse communities. An all-woman Catholic women's club in 1919 decided to address this growing problem by establishing a school and clinic for the underprivileged Mexican immigrants settling in the Westside. The Guadalupe Center, named after Mexico's patron saint, was one of the nation's first social service agencies for Latinos and is now the center of Kansas City's Latino community.
