Carnomise

Acquisition in 2015
Carnomise helps travelers leaving from an airport to avoid parking charges by renting their own cars out to other travelers. The car owner saves on parking and earns money from the rental. The car renter saves by renting for significantly less than traditional car rental. All rentals are fully insured with third party liability, damage, theft and fire coverages. The car owner drops their vehicle on the Carnomise location close to the airport. Carnomise rents it out to other travelers with professional car rental procedures. Upon return, the owner recovers its vehicle and 50% of the rental fees. Carnomise launched in September 2013 in France with two car rental locations : Paris-Orly and Paris-Beauvais airports. The company's objective is to expand to a 40 location network within 5 years. Airport Peer-to-Peer carsharing is among the latest trends in carsharing globally. With 33.000 private owners sharing their vehicles, France is among the top markets for carsharing in the world. The number of P2P carsharing vehicles is expected to double within 12 months in the country.
