Max Planck Society

The Max Planck Society for the Advancement of Science is a prominent non-profit research organization based in Munich, Germany. Established to promote scientific research, it operates 86 institutes and research facilities that focus on basic research across various fields, including natural sciences, life sciences, social sciences, and the arts and humanities. With a workforce of approximately 24,000, including around 15,000 scientists, the society has earned a global reputation for excellence, having been awarded more than 33 Nobel Prizes.
