Ecofuel is a venture capital fund specialized in cleantech startups. The Ecofuel Fund invests “smart money” in seed and early stage companies that develop and commercialize clean technologies. The Ecofuel Fund has $40.6 millions in assets under management and is sponsored by the following investors: Investissement Québec, acting as mandatory of the Government of Quebec, BDC Capital, the investment arm of the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), Fondaction, the Fonds de solidarité FTQ and the Quebec consortium for industrial bioprocess research and innovation (CRIBIQ) .
