Choice Hotels International is a global hospitality franchisor offering a diversified portfolio of lodging brands across economy, midscale, upscale and extended-stay segments. It operates and franchises more than 7,500 hotels with about 654,000 rooms in 46 countries, serving business and leisure travelers. The portfolio includes established brands such as Comfort Inn and Comfort Suites, along with Ascend and Cambria as newer lifestyle and select-service brands. In 2022 the Radisson acquisition expanded the system by roughly 70,000 rooms. Franchising accounts for all revenue, and the United States accounted for about 78% of rooms in 2024.
