Croda International

Croda is a British specialty chemicals company founded in 1925, recognized as a leader in natural-based products that serve a wide array of industries. With approximately 3,400 employees operating in 34 countries, the company generates around 60% of its sales outside Europe. Croda's business is organized into three main segments: consumer care, life sciences, and industrial specialties. The consumer care segment focuses on specialty and active ingredients for cosmetics, skincare, haircare, as well as flavors and fragrances. The life sciences segment provides products for healthcare and agrochemicals. In 2022, Croda divested the majority of its industrial businesses to Cargill but continues to operate a subsegment that supports its consumer care and life sciences divisions by marketing their byproducts.
