Tribune Media Company is a diversified media and entertainment organization based in Chicago, Illinois. It operates 42 local television stations, providing a range of news, entertainment, and sports programming, including affiliations with major networks such as FOX, CBS, and ABC. The company also runs WGN America, a national general entertainment cable network, and operates digital multicast networks such as Antenna TV and THIS TV. Additionally, Tribune Media includes WGN 720 AM, a radio station in Chicago, and has a portfolio of significant real estate properties and strategic investments. Previously known as Tribune Company, it was renamed in July 2014 and has a history dating back to 1847. As of September 2019, Tribune Media functions as a subsidiary of Nexstar Media Group, Inc.
