Savannah Resources is a mineral resource development company engaged in the exploration and development of lithium, copper, and mineral sands in Portugal, Mozambique, Finland, and Oman. Its flagship asset is the Mina do Barroso lithium project in Portugal, recognized for its significant spodumene lithium resource, which positions it as a critical player in the European lithium battery supply chain. In addition to lithium, the company explores for copper in Oman and is developing the Mutamba Heavy Mineral Sands Project in Mozambique in partnership with Rio Tinto. Savannah Resources aims to enhance value for its shareholders while ensuring responsible development and contributing positively to the communities in which it operates. Established in 2010 and based in London, the company was previously known as African Mining and Exploration plc until its rebranding in 2013.
