Sky Solar Holdings is an investment holding company that functions as an independent power producer specializing in the development, ownership, and operation of solar parks. As of late 2019, Sky Solar had developed 333 solar parks with a total capacity of 414 megawatts across several countries, including Japan, China, and the United States. The company owned and operated 115.1 megawatts of solar parks and had approximately 490 megawatts of solar projects in different stages of development in locations such as Chile and Canada. Additionally, Sky Solar maintains a strategic partnership with Hudson Clean Energy Partners to invest in renewable power initiatives. Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Admiralty, Hong Kong, the company was taken private in 2020.
