New York Community Trust (NYCT) is an independent non-profit foundation based in New York City, New York. Established in 1924, the trust is the umbrella name for two organizations, The New York Community Trust, an unincorporated association of charitable trusts, and its corporate affiliate, Community Funds, Inc., a New York State not-for-profit corporation. Funds set up as trusts are invested by the banks selected by the donor from the foundation's list of trustees. The assets of the foundation are managed by the executive management team.
