It is based on a sophisticated musculoskeletal model that allows the therapist to obtain more precise information about the condition of the patient's upper limb and to design the therapy (movements and forces) that the therapist must perform. The system also allows to monitor the progress of the patient in the rehabilitation process. Motion and force sensors are used that allow knowing the range and scope of the movements that the patient can make and the force that applies at every moment, which is an invaluable information for the medical therapist.
