Oklahoma area, Southwestern Oklahoma State University is a traditional
four-year university that offers all of these options and more.
Students can take the traditional route by learning through their
on-campus classes, or they can take the distance education route, which
can be completed from any place where they can access the internet.

Information Management, Psychology, and Computer Science are among the
many programs that students can choose to study.
SOSU has a comprehensive financial aid office where students can access
information on how to apply for aid. Loans, grants and work-study is
available to eligible students through the FAFSA. Financial aid
counselors can also point students toward scholarships to help pay for
tuition and other educational expenses.
Student life at SOSU is filled with activities and organizations where
students can socialize with their peers, exercise their personal
interests, or just relieve the stress of a long day. Student government
and the school newspaper, The Southwestern, are both run by students.
There is also a wellness center and pool.
Mid-America Christian University

Mid-America Christian University (MACU) offers students a higher
education in a close-knit, Christian environment.
The MACU campus is located in Oklahoma City, just minutes from downtown,
where opportunities abound. Students are right in the heart of a
metropolitan city that is full of activities, events and recreation.
MACU has undergraduate and graduate degrees programs in fields that
include: Behavioral Science, Business Administration, Music Performance,
Specialized Ministries, and Teacher Education.
It also has accelerated learning programs with flexible scheduling
options for working adults. Some of the programs designed for working
adults are: Christian Ministry, Communication and Public Relations, and
Health Care Administration and Ethics.
To enroll at MACU, students must submit an admissions application and
fee, personal references, official transcripts, and standardized test
scores. A minimum score of 18 on the ACT, or a minimum score of 750 on
the SAT, is required for acceptance.
The school’s tuition fees can be brought down with financial aid. Various
forms of financial aid are available to those who qualify: grants, loans,
scholarships, and work study programs. MACU gives out many athletic
scholarships to eligible athletes as well.
