Founded in 2002 and based in Santa Clara, California, the company operates a production facility in Portland, Oregon. In addition to manufacturing silicon wafers, Solaicx designs and builds crystal silicon wafer production systems aimed at enhancing the production of solar silicon cells for photovoltaic applications.
