GS EPS
GS EPS is an independent power producer in South Korea that generates electricity using natural gas, biomass, fuel cells, and wind. It operates an LNG-fired combined-cycle power plant in Dangjin, Chungnam Province with a capacity of 2,406 MW; a biomass plant in Shandong, China with 105 MW; a 2.4 MW fuel cell facility; and a 30 MW wind farm in Gimnyeong, Jeju Island. The company was formerly LG Energy and renamed in 2005. It was founded in 1996 and is based in Dangjin. It is a subsidiary of GS Holdings Corp.
