GS EPS
GS EPS operates as an independent power producer in South Korea, generating electricity from clean fuels such as natural gas, bioenergy, and LNG. It runs a 2,406‑MW LNG‑fired combined‑cycle plant in Dangjin, a 105‑MW biomass plant in Shandong, China, a 2.4‑MW fuel‑cell plant, and a 30‑MW wind farm in Gimnyeong, Jeju Island. Formerly LG Energy, the company changed its name in December 2005. Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Dangjin, GS EPS is a subsidiary of GS Holdings Corp.
