Ariel Re is a specialized reinsurer with offices in Bermuda, London and Hong Kong, offering multi-line, specialty reinsurance solutions through Lloyd's Syndicate 1910 and access to Lloyd's Europe via Syndicate 5336. Founded in 2005, it serves a diverse client base and has a history of strong performance in Lloyd's and Bermuda markets. In 2020, Ariel Re was acquired by Pelican Ventures and J.C. Flowers, bringing substantial capital resources and industry expertise. In partnership with Apollo Syndicate Management, Ariel Re underwrites on behalf of a Lloyd's property catastrophe arrangement, and since 2022 the SPA 6133 portfolio has been integrated with Ariel's Lloyd's capacity to broaden client offerings. The company also provides insurance and reinsurance coverage for property, professional liability, non-marine physical casualty, aviation physical damage, personal accident and related lines, helping clients mitigate risk and meet their insurance needs.
