AHJN is a non-profit arts organization that serves detained youth by providing arts education. AHJN was founded in Los Angeles County, which has the nation's largest juvenile justice system, with nearly 16,000 youth under the Probation Department's jurisdiction. The AHJN model is now being replicated in other cities and regions, such as San Diego and New Mexico.
