Leaf Agriculture is the provider of a unified farm data API and it builds the future of food and agriculture.
Full Harvest helps growers get the most out of a harvest and food companies save money by bringing farm excess to market. We are a B2B platform connecting large farms to food businesses to sell significantly discounted, yet perfectly good surplus and imperfectly shaped produce that would have otherwise gone to waste. Approx. 20 billion pounds of produce go to waste in the U.S. annually simply because they are not perfectly shaped for strict retailer standards. We aim to solve this problem by creating a marketplace for this unutilized edible and delicious produce. Our vision is three-fold: bring an additional revenue stream to farmers, lower the cost of healthy food production, while significantly reducing wasted food and resources. A win-win for everyone.

TeleSense is an Agtech company providing environmental monitoring and control solutions for the food and grain industry. Using an advanced suite of sensors, TeleSense provides grain managers with actionable insights about their stored grain, so that they can make storage decisions easily, quickly, and accurately. The easy-to-use sensors continuously monitor grain, and will automatically send alerts to the TeleSense app on their computer, smartphone, or tablet. They help manage risks in the world’s perishable commodities supply chain by using machine learning algorithms. TeleSense also retrofits traditional temperature cables to make them wireless. Imagine never having to manually check your cables again, and having that information available 24/7, right at their fingertips. The company is digitizing the post-harvest grain supply chain using advanced Internet of Things, real-time environmental monitoring, and cloud-based artificial intelligence. Whether assets are stationary or moving, TeleSense uses cloud-based technology to simplify monitoring. Their solutions help eliminate human error, improve operational efficiency, and increase profitability. It was founded in 2013 and is based in Sunnyvale, California, United State.

Motorleaf is an agriculture technology company specializing in artificial intelligence tools for greenhouse production. We design algorithms and data-driven products using techniques in machine learning to deliver insights that help farmers maximize yield and reduce operational costs in commercial greenhouses. Our team of data scientists specialize in model development and data mining to produce products that help farmers manage greenhouses, get insights on plant health optimization, and preemptively address potential farming issues. The results speak for themselves: our technology can reduce error in harvest forecasting by 50% to 70% from the start and becomes even more accurate with time. AI-powered estimates are typically more than twice more accurate than those made by a human. Situated within a global hub of innovation in artificial intelligence, Motorleaf is a Montreal-based company founded in 2016.

Global demand for protein will double in the next few decades. The only way to meet this demand in a way that is both respectful of animal well being and preserves or increases wild spaces is to make livestock that are better adapted to their environment, and which use fewer resources to produce the same amount of protein. In this way, their solutions can help the livestock, the planet, and the producer, all at the same time. See the video presentation or the links below for an overview of their current projects.
