SvD has not only been awarded the best Swedish newspaper several times, but also the best designed newspaper in Sweden – and in Europe. In addition the paper has received the Swedish Pulitzer prize and the Golden Spade for best investigative journalism. Schibsted Sweden and MittMedia recently signed a Letter of Intent to form a new media group consisting of Svenska Dagbladet and MittMedias 28 locale subscription based newspapers.
