Ecotone Renewables focuses on promoting sustainable food and agriculture systems at a community level, moving beyond traditional industrial practices. The company is committed to empowering communities to redevelop through sustainable food practices. One of its key innovations is the "Seahorse," a system designed to revolutionize food and plant waste disposal. By employing anaerobic digestion, Ecotone converts food waste into renewable energy and nutrient-rich fertilizers, thus closing the food loop. Additionally, the company utilizes patent-pending technology to eliminate contaminants like plastic, metal, and glass from waste, creating efficient food waste systems that cater to various sectors, including grocery stores, colleges, hotels, and restaurants. This approach not only addresses food waste but also supports farm owners in enhancing the growth and productivity of their plants, ultimately contributing to the creation of sustainable communities.
