The scheme is overseen by Universities Superannuation Scheme Limited, a corporate trustee based in Liverpool and London, which is responsible for its management and administration. USS Investment Management Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary, implements the scheme's investment strategy and provides in-house investment management from its London office. The scheme operates under the regulation of the Financial Conduct Authority.
