MoGas Pipeline is a natural gas pipeline operator based in Wentzville, Missouri, overseeing more than 263 miles of interstate pipeline infrastructure across Missouri and Illinois. Established in 2008 through the consolidation of three affiliated pipeline systems—Missouri Interstate Gas, Missouri Gas Company, and Missouri Pipeline Company—MoGas transports and delivers natural gas to both investor-owned and municipal local distribution systems. Prior to the consolidation, the individual companies operated as intrastate and interstate pipelines, subject to different regulatory bodies. The merger allowed MoGas to streamline operations and enhance service efficiency. Currently, MoGas is regulated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, ensuring compliance and operational standards in its delivery of natural gas to customers in the St. Louis region and beyond.
