GFG Resources is a North American precious metals exploration company focused on advancing district-scale gold projects in tier-one mining jurisdictions. Its primary assets include the Rattlesnake Hills project in Wyoming and the Pen Gold and Dore Gold projects in Ontario.
Rapier Gold Inc. was an exploration stage company based in Vancouver, Canada, focused on gold exploration in Canada. Established in 2012, it held a 100% interest in the Pen Gold Project, which spans 21,697 hectares in Timmins, Ontario, an area renowned for its gold production. The project is situated on the Porcupine Destor Fault Zone, one of the world's most prolific gold-bearing structures. Despite the significant mineral potential, the Pen Gold Project had seen minimal systematic exploration. The Timmins region has a rich history of gold mining, having produced over 72 million ounces of gold over the past century, predominantly from the northern side of the fault zone.
