CorEnergy Infrastructure Trust
CorEnergy Infrastructure Trust is a real estate investment trust that specializes in owning and managing critical energy infrastructure assets within the United States. Its portfolio includes pipelines, storage terminals, and transmission and distribution systems, all of which are typically subject to long-term triple-net participating leases with energy companies. The company aims to generate revenue primarily through these leases and long-term customer contracts, focusing on providing stockholders with attractive risk-adjusted returns and emphasizing distribution growth over time. Additionally, CorEnergy may offer capital solutions, including loans secured by energy infrastructure assets, to enhance its investment strategy and support its operational objectives.
MoGas Pipeline operates a 263-mile interstate natural gas pipeline network throughout Missouri and Illinois, delivering natural gas to both investor-owned and municipal local distribution systems. Established in 2008 through the merger of three affiliated pipeline systems—Missouri Interstate Gas, Missouri Gas Company, and Missouri Pipeline Company—the company aims to streamline operations and enhance service efficiency. Prior to the consolidation, Missouri Gas Company and Missouri Pipeline Company functioned as intrastate pipelines in Missouri, while Missouri Interstate Gas operated an interstate pipeline regulated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. The merger was driven by the recognition of the benefits of unifying the three companies, leading to FERC approval for the consolidation. Since June 1, 2008, MoGas has provided FERC-regulated natural gas transportation services, focusing on the St. Louis region and surrounding areas.
