L'Avion

Acquisition in 2008
Elysair SAS, operating as L'Avion, was an airline based in Paray Vieille Poste, France, specializing in business class-only long-haul flights between Orly Airport in Paris and Newark Liberty International Airport in the United States. The airline owned two Boeing 757 aircraft and focused on providing a premium travel experience. Eventually, L'Avion was sold to British Airways and subsequently merged with OpenSkies, a subsidiary of British Airways, which continued to offer transatlantic services.
