Cinterion is the provider of industrial Machine-to-Machine (M2M) wireless communication modules, Cinterion’s M2M module technology with Gemalto expertise in deploying software and services for mobile network operators will provide simple to deploy M2M solutions with proven security and demonstrated remote “over-the-air” management of devices for industrial companies, for administrations and for mobile network operators which are increasingly seeking to offer M2M communication services.
Todos AB is a provider of strong authentication solutions for internet banking. Todos has to date delivered in excess of 20 million products to over 100 financial institutions in more than 30 countries. Todos core offer is the eCode Suite, including the Todos Versatile Authentication Server, which enables strong authentication and transaction verification. The Versatile Authentication Server supports all leading industry standards and is augmented by patented technology such as Dynamic Signatures. Using their EMV card and a Todos’ eCode reader, consumers can use their PIN code to securely sign internet banking transactions. An additional layer of security can be provided by displaying transaction details on the reader, so that users “sign what they see”, thwarting in particular “man in the browser” attacks. Over the coming months Todos will be integrated with Gemalto’s Identification and Access Management business line.
Valimo´s products enable mobile phone users to securely authenticate themselves, digitally sign documents and confirm legally binding transactions by entering a self-chosen passphrase or a PIN code. Valimo Mobile ID solution facilitates secure online banking, mobile payments, governmental services, electronic and mobile commerce, and identity and access rights management for enterprise applications.
Serverside Group, Ltd was purchased by Gemalto in 2012. It provided software solutions to issuers, personalization bureaus, and manufacturers of the cards industry. It offered AllAboutMe, a Web-based card personalization application that allows its users to create own personal payment cards using the photos of loved ones, pets, favorite places, and memorable events. Many tens of millions of cards have been designed through this product. The company also provided Virtual Portfolio, a Web-based management tool that enables issuers to launch online card marketing campaigns, assess and adjust campaigns in real time, and print cards on demand; Image Checking, a web-based interface that is used to screen the images selected for personal card creation prior to printing; and Image Management, a browser-based application that allows issuers to coordinate and control image galleries.
