Chalmette Refining, LLC is a refinery located in Chalmette, Louisiana, founded in 1915. The company specializes in transforming crude oil into a diverse array of petroleum products, including various grades of gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, butane, kerosene, and asphalt, among others. Chalmette Refining has the capacity to produce approximately 80,000 barrels of gasoline per day. Its products are distributed through multiple channels, including pipelines, barges, trucks, and railcars, primarily within the United States. As of November 2015, Chalmette Refining operates as a subsidiary of PBF Holding Company LLC and was previously known as Chalmette Petroleum Corporation.
