Spartan Innovations is an acceleration firm located in East Lansing, Michigan, and serves as a wholly owned subsidiary of the MSU Foundation. Spartan Innovations offers a variety of essential resources for entrepreneurs, including the Conquer Accelerator, Entrepreneur-In-Residence, and Mentor-In-Residence programs. In addition to these programs, the firm assists startups with market assessments, commercial development, business plan development, and access to gap funds and grant funding. Startups that emerge from Spartan Innovations have the opportunity to pitch for early-stage funding through associated venture funds. Moreover, in 2021, Spartan Innovations partnered with the Grand Rapids Smartzone and Start Garden to manage the SmartZone Incubator and related high-tech business support services in the region.
