The Internet Games business unit develops internet games. Kongzhong sells its WVAS and mobile games through telecommunication operators and other distribution partners. KongZhong Corporation was founded on May 6, 2002, and is headquartered in Beijing, the Peoples Republic of China. The company was formerly known as Communication Over The Air, Inc. and changed its name to KongZhong Corporation in March 2004, the same year it went public in NASDAQ through investments made by American and Hong Kong venture capital firms.
