International Battery Metals

International Battery Metals is a technology and manufacturing company focused on environmentally responsible lithium extraction from brine sources, notably oil field brines for petro-lithium projects. It develops processes to extract lithium chloride from brines, which can be further processed into lithium carbonate for industrial use or batteries. The company is developing the MDLE Plant, a rapidly deployable, on-site brine processing unit designed to be installed at a customer's property. All operations are conducted in the United States, while the company is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. It began in 2010 and was formerly Rheingold Exploration Corp., changing its name to International Battery Metals in 2017.
