TECO Energy's distribution system encompasses around 12,100 miles of gas mains and 6,900 miles of service lines in Florida, as well as 1,600 miles of transmission pipelines and 10,200 miles of distribution lines in New Mexico. The company is a subsidiary of Emera Incorporated and was founded in 1899.
