The company also engages in the production and distribution of natural gas, water, and electricity, alongside the construction and operation of thermal power plants. Gruppo Egea further enhances its portfolio by offering integrated environmental services through contracts with government bodies and managing a network of energy plants and pipelines.

GridLink Interconnector

GridLink Interconnector is a project to develop and operate a high voltage electricity interconnector between the United Kingdom and France. The proposed link would be a 1.4 GW offshore subsea HVDC cable spanning about 150 kilometers from Kent in the United Kingdom to the Port of Dunkerque in France, with responsibilities including development, planned construction and ongoing operation to increase transmission capacity and support renewable energy deployment across both countries.
