Skydance Media, founded by David Ellison in 2010 and based in Santa Monica, California, is a diversified media company that specializes in producing high-quality entertainment across various platforms. The company creates feature films, television programs, interactive content, and video games, with a focus on both original concepts and established intellectual properties. In 2013, Skydance launched its television division, further expanding its portfolio, and in 2017, it established an animation division in collaboration with Spain's Ilion Animation Studios to develop and produce animated feature films and series. Skybound Entertainment is an imprint of image comics that provides comic book creators the opportunity to publish their work. It offers Robert Kirkman’s Eisner award-winning comic book series, The Walking Dead, long-running Invincible, all-ages Super Dinosaur, Thief of Thieves and Clone as well as Witch Doctor, Guarding the Globe, and The Astounding Wolf-Man.
Since its inception, Skybound Entertainment has created television shows, merchandise, and a wide spectrum of platforms, games, and entertainment events. It was launched by Robert Kirkman in 2010.

Ilion Animation Studios, located in Madrid, Spain, is a prominent animation company specializing in the development and production of high-quality computer-generated feature films.
