Montage Resources

Montage Resources Corporation was an oil and natural gas exploration and production company based in Irving, Texas. Founded in 2011, it primarily focused on the Utica and Marcellus Shales across southeast Ohio, West Virginia, and North Central Pennsylvania. At its peak, Montage held approximately 233,800 net acres and estimated proved reserves amounting to 2,729.8 billion cubic feet of natural gas equivalent. The company was formed through the combination of Eclipse Resources and Blue Ridge Mountain Resources and was known as Eclipse Resources until it rebranded in February 2019. Montage Resources was acquired by Southwestern Energy in November 2020.
