MPE Partners is a private equity firm that focuses on lower middle market leveraged buyouts, add-on acquisitions, recapitalizations, corporate divestitures and build-up investments. It primarily invests in family- and founder-owned businesses in high-value manufacturing and commercial and industrial services sectors. In high-value manufacturing, it backs companies in aerospace and defense, energy and infrastructure, industrial, specialty chemicals, containers and packaging, and test and measurement. In industrial services, it targets aftermarket services, maintenance, repair and overhaul, distribution, infrastructure services, industrial machinery, and transportation and logistics. The firm focuses on North America for platform companies and global add-ons, and typically makes equity investments up to 250 million with targets of EBITDA 5 to 20 million and enterprise value 25 to 150 million.
