The company owns and operates generation assets including a 347 MW natural gas-fired unit in Wisconsin and a 225 MW wind farm in Oklahoma, and maintains investments in freight, logistics and supply chain services along with a short-line railway, barge terminal and related operations. It also holds a minority stake in American Transmission Co. Headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, Alliant Energy traces its roots to 1917.
